Composition: (E, E) -8,10-dodecadien-1-ol, 2.4% w / w in vapor diffuser (VP) (120 mg a.i./ diffuser)
Presentation: 1 bag of 400 units
Registered in the Official Register of Phytosanitary Products with the number: ES-00070
Product Usable in Organic Agriculture in application of Regulation EC No 834/2007
How to use:
Apply by placing the diffusers manually in the upper third of the tree canopy, avoiding direct exposure to the sun.
Place the diffusers evenly distributed throughout the farm. The density of diffusers will double in the margins (5 m around) and in the most conflictive areas of the farm.
The diffusers should be placed in BBCH 70 (after flowering and before the start of curdling), before the appearance of the first-generation carpocapsa moth, or before the appearance of the first moth of any other generation. The start of the flight can be determined by monitoring traps primed with capsule for monitoring (Pherocon® CM-DA Combo), or by following the information provided by the Plant Health Services of the area.
Verification of the effectiveness of the method of sexual confusion:
Place flight tracking traps provided with pheromone diffuser, checking them weekly to establish catch levels. A catch threshold of 2-3 adults per trap per week may indicate the need to implement complementary control measures, such as insecticide treatments.
The absence of trap captures is not considered sufficient data to guarantee the effectiveness of the method. In addition, periodic visual observations of attack on fruits should be made, inspecting mainly on the margins and problem areas of the farm. The evaluation of the level of damage detected in these visual inspections of fruits will allow to assess the need to complement the method with a specific intervention based on insecticides.
For greater effectiveness, all remaining attacked fruit that remains in the tree or soil must be removed and destroyed.
In the presence of high pest densities, the product behaves as a containment factor for the population, and must be implemented with other control strategies.
The release of pheromone by diffusers has a duration of 180 days.
It is convenient to integrate the largest possible area in the area under sexual confusion, in order to avoid invasion of females coming from farms or adjacent areas where confusion techniques are not applied.
Synergist: pear ester, 20 g / ha (25 mg / diffuser).
