The adult moths have a wingspan of 15 to 23 mm. The anterior wings are whitish with variegated reddish-brown markings; the hind wings are grayish. The forewings are light purple brown with bands and dark chocolate brown, reddish brown or yellowish brown markings. The forewings are bordered by white. The rear wings are gray with a cuprous metallic shine towards the apex. The head and thorax are light violet brown; the abdomen is gray. The antennae are simple and filiform.
Density of trap
Two traps per hectare (2 traps / ha) for small farms and in the irregular topography field. A trap for every two hectares of large-scale fields of homogeneous land.
Lures
The lures can be changed every 4-6 weeks to get the most accurate results.
