When should Citripar be used?

Use Citripar for the biological control of mealybugs (Planococcus citri) and of mealy mealybugs of the vine (Planococcus ficus). In case of more serious infestations, we recommend that you also drop Cryptobug.

How does Citripar work?

The adult females of the parasitic wasps parasitize the pillbugs, mainly the second and third larval stage of mealybugs and the mealy mealybugs of the female vine.

Application of Citripar

Remove the label from the bottle (as indicated in the instructions for use)

Hang the bottle in the crop, avoiding direct sunlight

Release the product on or near the cochineal colonies

The bottles must remain at least two weeks in the culture

Combat the ants properly.

Conditions of optimal handling of Citripar

The effectiveness of the parasitic wasp is greater at a temperature close to 25 ° C. The lower temperature limit for development is 13 ° C and the upper limit is 38 ° C.

Because biological beneficial organisms have a very short life cycle, they should be introduced into the crop as soon as possible after reception. Otherwise, its quality could be impaired.
