When to use Aphytis?

Start loose in spring until autumn. Recommended at the first signs of infestation.

How does Aphytis work?

The adult female of A. Melinus parasitizes the diaspinos to deposit their eggs. After several set-ups and time for the emergence of new parasitoids, diaspinos are controlled. Then it is possible to observe the circular exit holes in the parasitic scale. A. also exercises control by depredation of its host.

How to use Aphytis?

Divide each pot into 11 drop points. Use the lid, the 8 strips of green paper, the bottom cotton and the pot itself. Make a homogeneous distribution for the plot. Release more doses in the areas of the plot that has foci of the diaspinos. Make the release first thing in the morning or late afternoon. Optimum conditions for Aphytis

The effectiveness of the parasitic wasp is greater around 25ºC. The lower temperature limit for its development is 13ºC and the upper limit is 38ºC.

Driving
