How does Aphibank work?

A large but slightly fluctuating population of parasitic wasps will occur in each cereal block. It is important to regularly incorporate new blocks to ensure a constant production of large amounts of parasitic wasps. The level of infestation of the aphids remains low due to the continuous presence of large amounts of parasitic wasps, actively seeking aphids in the crop (a situation of "permanent control").

Application

Open the box immediately upon receipt.

Take the cereal block from the box and place it in a separate piece of 2-3 liter wet rock wool. It is recommended to use a hanging pot 20 cm in diameter.

Place the pot in direct light, for example in an illuminated place along the main aisle. It is recommended to place it in a place where you can stay for 10-12 weeks.

Insert a dropper into the block for a continuous supply of water and nutrients. A brief moment of drought can have lethal consequences. Also provide proper drainage to avoid any excess water.

When the roots begin to grow, move the dropper from the block to the rock wool.

To obtain an optimal result, hang the shelter plants above the crop. This encourages growth and decreases the vulnerability of cereal plants to mildew.

So that the crop is not contaminated by the bold that develops on the molasses segregated by the aphids, place a large plastic bowl under the Aphibank.

If aphids are observed before the refuge plants produce parasites, apply Aphipar (at least 0.5 per m²).

The aphids of the refuge plants are extremely sensitive to insecticides. Before applying chemical pesticides, remove the blocks from the greenhouse for at least 24 hours. Place them in a place where they can not penetrate the vapors of the pesticide.

If the pesticides are applied via irrigation, remove the drippers from the blocks for approximately 24 hours, since the residues of the pesticides slowly disappear from the irrigation system. In these cases, you may have to temporarily connect to an alternative irrigation medium.
