When should Aphipar be used?
Use Aphipar for the biological control of pests, especially, of:
cotton aphid (Aphis gossypii)
Tobacco aphid (Myzus persicae var. nicotianae)
Peach aphid (Myzus persicae var. persicae)
The use of Aphipar is especially indicated at the beginning of the plague of aphids.
How does Aphipar work?
The adult females of the parasitic wasps lay their eggs in a parasitic manner on the aphids, causing their swelling and hardening and turning them into leathery gray / brown mummies. The first parasitic adult wasps emerge through a round hole in the back of the mummy, about two weeks after its laying.
