When should Ercal be used?

Use Ercal for biological control of the greenhouse fly (Trialeurodes vaporariorum) and tobacco (Bemisia tabaci) during the second and third larval stage. Use Ercal as a preventive and at the first sign of presence of the pest.

How does Ercal work?

The adult female wasp parasitizes the second and third larval stage of the whitefly. It also feeds on the host.

Ercal application

Open the box carefully inside the greenhouse

Bend and start the strips on the opposite side to the installation hole

Hang the cards between the crop, if possible, about 75 cm below the top of the plant

Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.

Do not touch the pupae

Conditions of optimal management of Ercal

For an optimal result of Ercal, an average temperature of at least 20 ° C is required for 24 hours. However, it can be introduced without problems at lower temperatures. Eretmocerus eremicus also remains active at temperatures above 30 ° C

Driving

Because biological beneficial organisms have a very short life cycle, they should be introduced into the crop as soon as possible after reception. Otherwise, its quality could be impaired. If you must store the product, please follow the instructions below. Koppert B.V. is not responsible for the loss of quality if the product is stored for longer or under conditions other than those recommended.
